Your North Star Coach (“we”, “us”, "our") is a sole trader company, established in 2024 in the United Kingdom. Operating out of the United Kingdom, the principal activity of Your North Star Coach is to provide business coaching services to individuals looking to set up their own small business within the United Kingdom.

This privacy policy explains how we and our subsidiaries use any of your personal information we might collect and how you can limit our use of it.

2. How do we collect information?

We collect:

1. Personal information (such as your name, postal address, email address, telephone number) and payment details if you are making a purchase from us. 
2. Information directly from you when you provide us with your contact details in the “Ask us a Question”, “Contact Us” or “Sign Up” sections on our website.
3. Information when you agree for other organisations to share it with us (such as Facebook and other social media platforms).
4. Device information through the use of cookies (see Cookies and similar technologies below) on our website and social media platforms.

3. How we use your information

1. We use the information needed to fulfil your purchase or enable us to provide a more personalised service to you. If you withhold requested information, we may not be able to provide certain products or services.
2. We use the personal information that you provide to reply to your “Ask us a Question” or “Contact  Us” forms.  We may retain a copy of the questions on an anonymous basis for our own internal purposes.
3. We collect the information you provide using the “Sign Up” form in connection with activities such as updates, newsletter requests, product purchases, feedback, information you provide in public forums on our site.
4. We use the information about your device through the use of cookies 

                    i) To recognise and remember you when you visit our website and better understand how you use                    

                        our website and to provide better user experience.

                   ii) For analytics, so that we can gain a better understanding of people who are interested in our

1. Our website may contain links to other websites that are not operated by us and are not controlled by us. 1. We will only store your personal information in regard to the “How we use your information”  section above, for the length of your required support from us in relation to the products/services purchased.
2. We will only keep your personal information for as long as we need it for a lawful purpose.      Extended storage will be agreed by you and us, at such time as required.

1. Selling your data: We do not sell or share your information with any third parties, other than as described here and in 3 above.
2. Legal Disclosures: We may disclose your personal information if we are required to do so by law,      or if in good faith we believe such action is necessary to comply with the  law a legal obligation.
3. Data processors: In common with most organisations, some of our functions using your personal      information are outsourced to contractors (for example, CookieHub who manage our cookies consents or our other software providers). Any processing of personal information by these contractors will only be for these carefully defined purposes, and will be adequately and lawfully      protected under contract, including requirements of confidentiality and data security.

9. Where we store your personal information

1. All personal information is processed within the European Economic Area (EEA). However, for the purposes of IT hosting, maintenance and analytics, your information may be situated outside the EEA. This will be done in accordance with lawful guidance.
